Saturday, March 7, 2020 is the monthly SARC breakfast at 8:00 AM at Maxfields in Schaumburg. The next SARC Construction Project meeting will be on March 14, 2020 held at the Schaumburg Park District Tennis Club (Schaumburg Tennis Plus) beginning at 8:00 AM.
Construction Project (CP) cabinet clearance: Planning to schedule club’s help reviewing eligible sale items once the Dummy Load project finishes. Next Hamfest is May @ Sandwich.

Insurance needs to be renewed and a Rider for Field day issued.

Dennis C. Calvey KD9HIK Publicity Chair reported the Schaumburg Park District is editing the piece they recorded during Winter Field Day. Leo made a motion to invite SPD to do additional filming at Field day in June. Second by Frank. Motion carried.
John KD9KSH presented some ideas about a summer activity this year.
Leo N9NBH reported General class will be held for 10 weeks beginning September 5th at the Hoffman Estates branch of the Schaumburg Public Library.
Bill Crocket KD9AUP will be moving and a new chairman will be required.
An invoice was presented for “Website Listing Service” It is believed this may be a scam. Invoice was referred to Matt Walsh for verification.
Robert W9RKK proposed the idea of purchasing new club radios for Field Day-EMCOMM use. Frank N9QPD moved and Leo N9NBH seconded the discussion.

The motion was tabled until April to allow time for further research.

Schaumburg Business Meeting March 2020
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the monthly meeting was cancelled and therefore no actual minutes available.
However, Cliff K9QD was able to provide an abridged version based off of email traffic passed through the club’s group email distribution list.
